Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I need to have UTV experience to drive?

    No experience needed! Our guides will provide full instructions before the ride. Drivers must be 21 or older with a valid driver’s license.

  • How difficult is the hike inside the canyon?

    The hike is short and easy, with mostly flat terrain and no steep climbs—perfect for all ages and fitness levels.

  • What should I bring?

    Wear closed-toe shoes (required for drivers) and comfortable hiking clothes. Bring sunglasses, sunscreen, and extra water, especially in hot weather. We provide helmets, goggles, and a cooler with cold water.

  • How long is the tour, and when does it run?

    The tour lasts 2-3 hours and runs Monday–Saturday (closed Sundays), year-round. Meeting point is Expedition Kanab Headquarters, and arrival 15 minutes before departure is required.

  • Will there be a lot of people at Peekaboo Slot Canyon?

    No! Unlike other popular slot canyons, Peekaboo is much less crowded, offering a peaceful, private experience to explore at your own pace.
