Frequently asked questions

Driving and Participation

  • Do we get to drive the UTV ourselves?

Yes! If you’d like. You get to choose. As you are checking out you will have the option to select your driving preference. Drivers must be 21 or older with a valid license and designated credit card on file in the event of any damages to the equipment.

Want to switch drivers during the ride? No problem! Your guide will teach you the ropes (wheels), and then it’s pedal to the metal.

  • What age groups is this tour appropriate for?

Most of our adventures are for everyone! We recommend kids be 4+ but we have taken little adventurers as young as 2 on our UTV rides.

UTV drivers need to be 21 with a license, and all guests should be able to hike short distances.

So basically, bring the whole family, from the babies to the grandparents and we’ll make some memories!

  • Do you require helmets or any special equipment?

Safety first, explorers! We will have helmets and goggles ready for you at check-in. Please remember to bring a jacket if it’s chilly. We also have affordable face coverings for purchase at check-in just in case you aren’t a fan of dirt in your teeth!

  • Is there a limit on how many people can ride in a UTV?

Each UTV fits 1 to 6 adventurers, depending on the model. Got a big group? We’ll make it work—everyone gets to ride!

  • Can we bring our kids/pets on the tour?

Sure thing! Kids love it, and pets are welcome if we know ahead of time. If your pet is large and will need a seat, remember to book enough seats to fit your furry friend.

Pricing and Packages FAQs

  • Is the price per person or per vehicle?

The price is per vehicle, not per person. Pack your crew—up to 6 explorers per UTV—and split the cost! Got more than 6 adventurers? No problem—book multiple machines and keep the adventure rolling.

  • If I’m coming as a group of 2, what do I select when I’m checking out?

For a group of 2, select a single 1-2 person UTV during checkout. No need to pay double!

  • Are there any discounts for veterans or groups?

Absolutely! We salute our veterans with a discount. Contact us to claim it!

Got a big group of 15+ People? Give us a shout, and we’ll work something out.

Tour Details and Recommendations FAQs

  • What is the difference between UTV tours and off-road tours?

UTV tours put you in the driver’s seat of a UTV, while off-road tours have you riding along with a guide in an off-road Jeep or Suburban. Both are epic—just depends on your style of adventure!

  • Do the tours include stops for photos or exploring?

Absolutely! We make plenty of stops for photos, stories, and to soak in the stunning views. It’s all part of the adventure.

We provide coolers with ice and water to keep your snacks and drinks fresh. Bring your favorite trail munchies, and you’re all set!

  • What should we bring with us for the tour?

We provide water, but you can always bring your own bottles too. We recommend bringing snacks, sunscreen, and of course your sense of adventure!

Closed-toe shoes for drivers are a must, and layers help if it gets chilly.

Area Focused FAQ’s

  • Are there 2 Peekaboo Slot Canyons?

Yes, there are! One is near Kanab, Utah, and that’s where our tours take you—a hidden gem without the crowds. The other is in Escalante, Utah, and it’s a hike to reach. Both are stunning, but our Peekaboo is all about off-road thrills and easy access!

  • Can we make it to Peekaboo Canyon on our own?

You could try, but it’s a tricky off-road trek through deep sand that requires a serious 4x4. Without the right gear or experience, it’s easy to get stuck. That’s where we come in—our UTVs and guides make sure you get there safely and stress-free, so you can focus on the adventure! It’s a lot cheaper and more fun than a tow truck!

  • How far is Kanab from Springdale?

Kanab is about 40 miles east of Springdale—a drive of around 45 minutes. But heads up! There's an east park entrance tunnel along the way that can get busy. Plan some extra time so you're not rushed. Enjoy the scenic route—it’s all part of the adventure!

  • What’s the difference between a UTV and an ATV?

A UTV (Utility Task Vehicle) is a larger, more stable off-road vehicle with seats for multiple passengers, making it perfect for group adventures. An ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle), on the other hand, is smaller and typically designed for one rider. Both are great for exploring rugged terrain, but UTVs give you more room and a smoother ride for shared experiences!
